Respite care allows family, friends or other carer's to take a break from caring for a loved one at home while we do the caring.

We endeavour to keep a respite bed available to enable people with residential care needs to stay with us for short periods of time as opposed to on a long-term contract. This allows their family, friends and carer's to have a break, but it also allows the person with care needs the opportunity to take a break themselves here in the Peak District, should they so wish.

All the amenities of the Home are available to anyone staying on a respite basis and they receive the same high standard of care from our team of professional, highly trained caring staff as those residents who have chosen to stay permanently.
